Kinetic Sculpture

Kinetic Sculpture
Using Theo Jansen's Theory, this was designed on CAD (Solidworks) then created using a laser cutting and assembled by hand. This kinetic sculpture is powered by wind and is tested using a blow dryer. The purpose of Theo Jansen's theory is to imitate life like leg movements using ratios known as the "Holy Numbers".

My first attempt at this project was by cutting foam boards to correct measurements. Due to complications caused by human errors, it was a failure. This had to be done using MDF wood laser cut into desired shapes with correct measurements.
